Need to get away from it all? Grab your mates, sling the boards on the roof rack and head out to Croyde to hit the waves and soothe the soul.  Beachcomber is a great choice, located just 10 minutes walk from the beach and within a short stroll of the village.

Well suited to families this relaxed and happy home is a great base for a stress free holiday or short break. There is lots to keep you entertained including a table tennis table, and dart board or pitch and put green in the garden and you are moments away from the village skate park and volley ball courts.

After a day of activity, Beachcomber welcomes you home, relax in the cosy lounge with wood burner, or enjoy the views over the village from the raised decking area.  Take advantage of the private hot tub, located to the rear of the property, so you can soothe those aching muscles if the waves have been unkind!

Share a meal around the large table in the kitchen diner and then perhaps head into the village for the evening in one of the surf theme bars, or simply take in the evening air with a walk to the beach to watch the sun sink slowly  behind the horizon.

Fun in the Sun .

There is nothing like a beach to bring out the sense of fun in everyone, even if that is just a game of chase!

You are really spoilt for choice when you choose Croyde for your holiday, with four spectacular beaches within easy reach and a wide varierty of activities to try.

If you dont fancy the beach, how about a quick game of pitch and put in the garden at Beachcomber instead!

Spoilt for Choice .

Choose the front deck for your morning coffee and soak up the village holiday vibe. Watch the world go by whilst making your plans for the day in the morning sunshine.

Hit the Surf .

Grab the boards from the garage and take a leisurely walk down for a high tide dip in the sea. Book a family surf lesson for the ultimate bonding experience and so much fun you will all fall in love with the sea.

Apres Surf .

Spend late afternoon soaking in the hot tub reminiscing about todays waves. Laugh at your wipe outs and celebrate your best waves . Check the surf for the morning whilst tucking into your BBQ burgers and a beer and plan your next days surf session. Maybe a quick table tennis re match and retire to the lounge to chill in preparation to do it all again tomorrow.

Because of its location, Croyde beach remains unspoilt by development. The dune system and the rugged headland of Baggy Point serves as a buffer, protecting the beach and giving it a sheltered, self contained feel. Well maintained, Croyde beach is clean and consistently wins awards for its water quality. In season, the beach is protected by a dedicated team of lifeguards who manage the waves so that swimmers, surfers, body boarders and kayakers all get a fair share of the surf!

  • Just returned from a 3 night stay at this lovely place. The hot tub was an extra special treat and it's a shame the weather wasn't the best so we weren't in it more. Sarah went above and beyond helping out and adding some lovely touches

  • We absolutely loved staying here. Amazing location 10 minutes walk from the beach. The house was super clean when we arrived and has absolutely everything you would need - the kitchen in particular is full of anything you would need for cooking. The hot tub was excellent. Would recommend this place to anyone and we will definitely be staying again!

  • Fantastic host, great property & good location. Couldn’t ask for anything more for a break away in Croyde.

  • Lovely house right in the centre of Croyde. Beautifully clean in a great position with parking and a hot tub which was amazing after a long day exploring! Our dog Archie loved it as did we :)

  • A very welcome break/ escape from lockdown. Excellent location in the village near shops and restaurants. Everything we needed in the house with comfortable beds and spacious rooms. The weather wasn't always brilliant but having a hot tub to come back to kept everyone happy! Sarah was really helpful with any issues and kept us updated with all the covid information too. Sad to have to leave.

  • Enjoyed a lovely stay at Beachcomber this April. After being stuck at home for goodness knows how long it was such a wonderful change. The house was clean and cosy, perfect location for the shops and only a 10-15 minute walk from the beach. Overall just a great place to stay :)
