Kids need some space to chill out

Hobbs House

Centrally located in the village of Croyde sits Hobbs House. The perfect family escape for a fantastic Croyde Break.

This spacious accommodation has room for all the family. A walk-through lounge/diner with seating for everyone, allows for cosy nights in watching a film, or some quiet reflection when the rest of the family are busy with their own activities.

French doors from the dining room lead out into the beautiful and mature gardens with a generous patio area great for those evening BBQ’s. The expansive lawns is perfect for letting the kids run off the last of their energy. A further raised decking area, makes sure you can always catch the rays whatever the time of day

An outdoor shower and side access to the garden helps you clean off after a full day of beach fun, and keeps the sand outside!

The central location means that you have a variety of options for eating out, right on your doorstep. If you do fancy a night in, a separate galley style kitchen makes meal prep easy, with plenty of space to help feed the masses!

A separate Den with sofa and games means the kids can have their own space too, and their own TV.

There should be no arguing over the sleeping accommodation, with four comfortable, light and airy bedrooms. Due to its elevated position Hobbs House benefits from some stunning views of the local area and even some sea glimpses from the triple aspect master bedroom.

The family bathroom located upstairs and an additional downstairs shower room, means queuing for the bathroom is not going to be a problem.

Fancy a day at the beach, you are only a 10 minute walk, through the dunes, away from Croyde Beach, or jump in the car (there are 2 parking spaces) and you can head further afield to Woolacombe or Putsborough Sands.

Croyde has been a hot spot for surfers for many years. The beach sits within a natural bay which produces good waves for surfing. The influence of the Gulf Stream creates a Maritime Climate which creates cooler summers, milder winters and a warmer sea, all ideal for surfing.  Complete beginners surf alongside UK national champions all year round, with Christmas day being no exception!

  • A fantastic place to stay. Very modern stylish accommodation in a great location. Superb

Mark, Fig Tree Cottage, October 2020
  • Fantastic winter stay in such a great location. Walks on the beach and cozy nights by the fire after a dip in the hot tub. Excellent hosts, great communication, nothing was too much trouble and they responded very quickly to any questions.

  • Sarah's bungalow is a lovely space, with the living & dining areas dividing the master bedroom & ensuite from the other two bedrooms & shower room. Great for time away from the kids! It is really nicely furnished and had everything we needed in a well equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, on a quiet side road close to a path down to the beach and a surf school but also an easy walk into the centre of Croyde. Communication with Sarah was quick and very helpful and I would definitely recommend staying in this accommodation to anyone wishing to visit the area.

  • This is a lovely private cottage in an amazing location. The host Sarah was really helpful and I was really impressed with her responses to address coronavirus safety. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Mary, Fig Tree Cottage, July 2020
  • Wonderfully cool place to have a relaxing stay. Location is spot on and facilities are the best we have ever had.

    Paul, Croyde Barn, September 2020
  • The location is brilliant, just down a narrow little no through lane, easy walking distance to the beach and village centre with the restaurants. The bungalow is very spacious, all the bedrooms are a good size, nice quality comfy beds and fixtures throughout. The garden is a sun trap with plenty of outdoor seating, it’s so peaceful and quiet all you can hear is the birds singing! Would not hesitate to recommend Sarah and her property, you will not be disappointed. We hope to be back again soon.

  • "Just got back from a wonderful week in Croyde. We stayed in Oasis and would highly recommend it. Lovely big spacious house with everything you need to hand. Ideal location for the beach and village. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub are brilliant went in every day this week , amazing. Thanks again Sarah and Chris 😊😊."

    LISA W, Oasis, July 2020
  • We had a fantastic week at Beach Break - the house is cosy, beautifully furnished and well kitted out. The hot tub was an essential after April surfing and we were extremely well looked after by Sarah when we had any queries. Counting the days already until we are back!

  • We have just returned from a lovely stay ar Beach Break in Croyde. The location was great, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Croyde which had a few pubs and restaurants. The beach was close by and we took advantage of a few of the many lovely walks in the area. The beds were very comfy, living areas were perfect for our group, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we used this a few times during the week. Thanks again for a great stay.

  • Absolutely loved this place. Clean, comfortable and spacious. Lots of games to keep us occupied in the storm. The fire and the hot tub were an added bonus. We’ll definitely be coming back!

  • "Just got back from staying in The Rock. Fabulous house, plenty big enough for 8 people with the added bonus of the hot tub. Highly recommend and Sarah has been so helpful and always on the end of a text message. We will be back again 🌞"

DEBBIE H, The Rock, August 2020
  • Fantastic property. One of the best holiday cottage I've ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything you needed to cater for the number of people it sleeps. Simple things like sharp knives and big enough saucepans makes self-catering a joy here. Really easy walk to the beach. Great pubs and a great cafe on your doorstep. The outdoor space was great for BBQs and sunbathing and is completely secure so perfect for the dog. We will definitely use Croyde Barn again.

    Clare, Croyde Barn, April 2021
  • Had a really great time at Ocean Palms this week. Lovely space, particularly the bedroom and bathroom, and access to the shed was a nice surprise to store our bikes. We had everything we needed and felt very welcome the whole stay. Would 100% stay here again, was a fab base for our time in Croyde

    Dirk, Ocean Palms, November 2020
  • Oasis is a truly fabulous house, in a great position close to the beach, and the village . The swimming pool and hot tub are especially appealing, even on a dull day! There was plenty of space for our family party, and the well equipped, sociable and super stylish kitchen made catering easy . Bedrooms are all really comfortable and the views are to die for! We all had a lovely time and hope to return soon .

    Mary, Oasis, October 2020
  • Warm welcome by Sarah when we arrived , ideally situated property in centre of village. Nice and warm and enjoyed using the wood burning stove.
