After a day out exploring all that Croyde and the surrounding countryside has to offer, spend time and relax with family or friends, whilst taking advantage of the sunny garden or stunning wood burner central to the open plan living and kitchen/ diner.

Direct access to the coastal footpath from the back garden means you are only ten minutes from the beach. Practical storage space for stashing all your outside gear, and an outside shower to rinse off when you return from the beach, means you can enjoy Sands free of sand!

Only two minutes from the centre of the village, you can take a slow wander to one of the great bars or restaurants for your evening meal, or grab a coffee and simply take in the village atmosphere.

Three good size bedrooms, makes Sands a great option for both families, and groups of friends looking to get away from it all.

Making Memories .

Whatever their age, building a sandcastle with the kids (even the big ones) just has to be done! They dont have to be a masterpiece, just a lovely memory, of quality time spent together doing nothing of much consequence!

Explore .

Jump in the car and head a bit further afield to discover some of the absolute treasures of the area. Visit the Valley of the Rocks on Exmoor watch the wild goats that graze on the rocky cliffs. From here, head down to Lynmouth Village and indulge in a bit of retail therapy and a light lunch, before taking the unique water railway up to Lynton village and take a short scenic stroll back to the car.

Easy Al Fresco.

Perfect for soaking up the rays or enjoying the sunset, a charcoal BBQ provides ample opportunity to make the most of being outside. Bench seating and sun loungers are provided, so there is plenty of seating for everyone, and the opportunity for a bit of peace and quiet whilst you soak up the rays!

Curl Up.

With one of the best wood burners in all of our homes, you can easily become mesmerised watching the flickering flames from the comfy sofa. Don the comfy clothes and snuggle up on the sofa for a few moments of quiet contemplation.

Croyde sits within its own bay and lies within North Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The coastline offers some of the most dramatic scenery you will find in the southwest of England and is easily explored by following the South West Coast path which allows for fantastic views as well as access to secluded coves and beaches.

  • Sands is in a great location with brilliantly easy access to the centre of Croyde. Our teenage boys loved being in the middle of things. The house is well presented and has everything you need. We had a really happy week.

  • We had a great long weekend with 4 children and our dog. The location is fantastic for the beach at Baggy Point and Croyde village. The house is well equipped, beds were comfy and the garden is enclosed. It was handy to have outdoor shower for wetsuits etc. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    Jocelyn, Sands, May 2021
  • A great location in a quiet cul de sac, near to all the restaurants and amenities of Croyde village. With super comfortable beds - something often lacking in holiday rentals! Sarah is very helpful with any queries.

    Emma, Sands, August 2020
  • Warm welcome by Sarah when we arrived , ideally situated property in centre of village. Nice and warm and enjoyed using the wood burning stove.

    Michael, Sands, December 2019
  • Beautiful house in a perfect location! The views from the property were lovely. We stayed during storm Ciara and stayed cosy and warm. Bedrooms are a nice size and the beds were comfortable.
