The Old Coastguards

The Old Coastguards is a spacious, bright, welcoming home, with plenty of room for the whole family and some friends too! 

So close to the beach, an early surf is a must, what a way to wake up! Head back home when you are done for a hot shower and a hearty breakfast and figure out your plans for the rest of the day. 

Fancy a lazy day on the beach, you are spoilt for choice with three award winning beaches on your doorstep. Take a trip further afield to Exmoor with it's dramatic scenery and traditional villages or explore some of the many local attractions. There really is something for everyone. 

Kids still got some energy to burn off? Head into the village for an early evening drink in one of the local pubs, while they hit the adventure playground and make some new friends. When is is time to eat, fire up the BBQ and settle down for a relaxed evening, soaking up the last rays of the eveing sun.

Grab a cuppa, open the curtains and breathe deeply while taking in the everchanging coastal views from the comfort of your bed. No book required! 

Cook up a storm.

This spacious kitchen makes it easy to cater for the whole family. Lots of fridge and freezer space and a huge oven/hob means you can cater to everyones needs however fussy!

Of course there is always the option to take a short stroll into the village and grab a bite, or linger over a lazy lunch in the bright summer sunshine. 

Soak up the Sun .

Making the most of the spectacular views the main garden sits to the front of the property. Raised up from the road and with views out to sea, you could easily while away a good few hours, whilst catching the early evening rays with an fancy G&T. 


Sleep Soundly .

There is something about the air in Devon, that hits the sleep button, especially after a day at the coast.

Whether its a full nights slumber or an afternoon nap you are sure to wake up relaxed, refreshed and raring to go.

Croyde sits within its own bay and lies within North Devon’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The coastline offers some of the most dramatic scenery you will find in the southwest of England and is easily explored by following the South West Coast path which allows for fantastic views as well as access to secluded coves and beaches.
